About Us
About our Founder - Priya Menon
Indian Women Professionals began as a passion project that Priya Menon thoughtfully nurtured and refined throughout her years in Corporate America. Along the way, she saw a clear need—Indian women across the world were looking for a supportive tribe they could lean on for strength, growth, and guidance in their careers.
What started with a few friends and small workshops gradually grew into a vibrant, supportive community over the years.
In 2024, following an eye opening issue in her life, Priya realized her mission couldn’t wait any longer. That moment became a turning point, leading to the official formation of Indian Women Professionals, LLC.
Entrepreneurship Career - land investing, a bold choice
After a corporate career that spanned Silicon Valley giants and Austin startups, Priya decided to choose the entrepreneurship path through Land Investing.
She buys and sells vacant land across the United States and has a different perspective on entrepreneurship than what most entrepreneurship coaches bring.
What was the original thought behind the founding of Indian Women Professionals
Our founder, Priya Menon, is on a mission to reshape what it means to be an Indian Woman Professional today.
As Indian women, we often find ourselves beautifully balancing two worlds—rooted in rich traditions while navigating the fast-paced, modern landscape around us. We carry our values with pride, even as we rise to meet new opportunities and challenges.
Priya truly believes that we can embrace the strengths our culture brings and use it to live up to our fullest potential.
That’s why Indian Women Professionals was created: to offer guidance, coaching, and most importantly, a supportive community—a tribe of women who understand each other, grow together, and walk this journey side by side.
Locations
Our organization started out in Austin, Texas, but we think global.
We have local events in Austin, but would be glad to help you get setup with a local IWP chapter in your city.
